Nominees for the 2020 iHeartRadio Music Awards, were announced on January 8. Since the Awards’ inception in 2013, the show has included live performances and appearances by superstar artists, such as Taylor Swift, Alicia Keys, Bruno Mars, Garth Brooks, Rihanna, Halsey, Justin Bieber, John Legend, Kacey Musgraves, Chris Martin, Bon Jovi, Maroon 5, Camila Cabello, Katy Perry, Ed Sheeran, Big Sean, Sam Smith, Madonna, Blake Shelton, Pharrell, Pitbull and many others.

The show is set to return to FOX in 2021. Given the new limitations on events during the pandemic, this year’s live event of the iHeartRadio Music Awards, originally scheduled to air from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, Sunday, March 29 on FOX , was cancelled. The annual iHeartRadio Music Awards is a star-studded music event celebrating the most-played artists and songs on iHeartRadio stations and the iHeartRadio app throughout 2019. Beginning Friday, September 4 at 5 pm local time through Monday, September 7 at 5 pm local time, the special event will unveil the winners in each category and feature acceptance speeches from this year’s biggest artists on-air and via iHeartMedia’s social platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and Snapchat.
